Black Isle Dairy

Black Isle Dairy is a small, family-run artisan ice cream and dairy products company, established in 2013.  Using creamy pasteurised milk from our own Black Isle dairy herd of Holstein and Jersey cows, our skilled milkologists make small batches of gelato-style ice cream, including frozen yoghurts, fruit sorbets and ice cream cakes, using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, and always of the highest quality. We make around 30 delicious flavours of ice cream.

We also offer non homogenised whole milk and creamy natural yoghurt using live cultures.  Ice cream, yoghurts and whole milk can be bought direct from our Honesty Shop at the farm, or from the Dairy at Daviot. There are several other outlets including the Storehouse, Robertsons the Larder in Beauly, Swordale Butchers in Bonar Bridge and small local supermarkets such as Spar.

The shop also stocks eggs, cheese and butter, bread and meat.

From our milk vending maching, come and buy your reusable branded glass bottle and fill it up with fresh milk. Our aim is to reduce our plastic usage, so whenever you'd like more milk, simply bring back your bottle and refill.
