Sharing Sheds

Sharing Sheds and Community Larders are a great way to encourage food sharing, and minimise waste. They also provide food and household items for those who might be struggling in these challenging times.

Who can use the sheds ?

Everyone in the community!  Whether you have items you can't use,  are in need of items, or you want to exchange items for something more useful, the shed is there for everyone.

All sharing sheds are run by volunteers. Please leave them as clean as you found them and follow all Covid related precautions (sanitiser, mask wearing etc).

Most of the sheds listed here were funded by a joint initiative between Black Isle Partnership, Community Councils and Highlands & Islands Enterprise.

  • Go on a nature walk, but take along a wild food book instead of a wildlife guide.
