Strathpeffer Artisan Bread is handmade  by Nikky Burdekin who is passionate about making bread that is good for you!  Using organic ingredients, Nikky bakes real bread that tastes great and is nutritious. She uses a sourdough starter, a simple yeast culture that occurs naturally with beneficial bacteria, resulting in bread that is nutritious and easily digestible. A variety of grains are used including wheat, rye and spelt.  Nikky is interested in baking with all grains to provide nourishing alternatives for those living with food intolerances including gluten free and Fodmap friendly.
