Fish vans and deliveries - update

Here's the latest news on fish vans and deliveries to the Black isle and surrounding areas. There is plenty of opportunity to stock up, either from your local fish van or delivered to your door.  Generally they are following their normal routes but please bear in mind times may vary due to increased demand and safety procedures.

Bell's Seafood

Currently still operating in Inverness, the Black Isle and Ross-shire. Alan (Tel 07425 013087), who serves the Black Isle and surrounding areas Tue-Fri, is taking a well-earned break next week after an incredibly busy few weeks, but he will be back on his normal route week beginning 27 April. Please note that he can't take on any new stops for the moment. He's taking much longer to get round than normal due to increased demand.

Buckie Fresh Fish

Lachlan (Tel 07989 436447) is not operating at the moment but will be starting back on his usual route week beginning 4th May.

Fishbox

They offer a weekly, fortnightly or monthly subscription service, delivering sustainable fish to your door within 48 hours of being landed. Currently still doing deliveries. Order online. Check Facebook for updates and changes.

Fortrose Fish Company

Deliveries will continue as usual until further notice. If you require a no contact home delivery call to make arrangements - Graeme on 07754634245 or 07802620086. Check facebook for updates.

JTs Seafood

Fish van currently operating on the regular route. Check facebook for updates. 

Pro Fish Services Ltd

Order online for home delivery or buy directly from the fish van. Currently offering deliveries of both large and small home packs of fresh, vacuum packed fish to a wide range of areas including the Black Isle, from £30 for a small pack.  You can build your own pack - see their website for details. Deliveries Tue - Sat but that may change so keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates. Fish van also operating, again see Facebook for schedule.  On Saturday mornings they are participating in the mini-market in Culbokie from 10am to 11am and then to North Kessock from 11:30am to 12:30am.

R.K. Shellfish

Delivering freshly landed fish and shellfish to your door.  Order online for delivery to the Black Isle, surrounding areas and further afield. See Facebook and website for updates and to see what is available on the day .

Scrabster Seafoods

Fish vans currently running. Calling at Dingwall and Culbokie as well as further north, Wed-Fri. See Facebook page for van schedule,  updates and details of how to arrange a home delivery.

All van drivers are taking strict hygiene precautions. Please stick to the following guidelines:

  • Keep a safe social distance, at least two metres
  • Do NOT approach the van if there is already a customer being served. Wait for them to leave.
  • If you or anyone in your household are showing signs or symptoms of COVID 19 please do not approach the driver. Get in touch and they can arrange a safe way for you to get what you require.
